This song was written during one of the toughest times of my life. 1983 Manheim Germany, I join the Army in April 1980. I got married, five Months Later. On September 11, 1980, we were ship to Germany in 1982. We Both Accepted Jesus in August 1983. Then we were about to divorce, by September 1983. We really don’t remember what the argument was about, but it went on for about three weeks. I was sleeping in the living room; she was in the bedroom. We would even argue on the way to church, while the kids praise God In the back seat. We just agreed that she was going back to the states, and it was over, and the only answer was divorce. It was a very difficult time. A soldier gave me a cassette tape, by Pat Roberson. The title was, How to Pray. I would pray every night. Then God gave me the answer. LORD FIX ME FIRST! And when I prayed that prayer, the Lord fixed me, and everything around me. Now September 11 2020 we’ve been married for 40 years. Lord Fix Me First is a relationship song. Take a listen.
