This is a song from the Book of Exodus. Moses said to God, show me your glory, and God responded with, I won’t show you My glory, but I will put you in a position to see My goodness. Then I’ll pass by and cover your face and let you see it from a looking forward view. Because looking back over your life, and seeing where God brought you from, makes you grateful.
